Ingredients

We chose everything that goes into Super Natural Organic Facial Oil with one thing in mind: How can we best help your skin keep itself in optimum condition - naturally?

The answer lies in a carefully formulated blend of completely natural ingredients known for their remarkable abilities to enhance and protect your complexion.

The precise mix and combination is unique enough, but what really separates Super Natural Organic Facial Oil from other facial oils is an exceptionally high amount of skin-beautifying vitamin E and a good dose of free-radical-fighting vitamin A.

  1. More about how vitamin E and vitamin A benefit your skin

It all adds up to a facial oil like no other. Every drop contains:

  1. the full range of essential fatty acids

  2. all twenty known amino acids including the nine essential amino acids

  3. natural minerals, including calcium, magnesium, sulphur, potassium, iron, zinc, phosphorous

  4. natural vitamins, including A, B1 B2, B3, B6, C, D and E

Here we take a take closer look at why we chose each ingredient in Super Natural Organic Facial Oil and what they can do for your complexion.

Organic frankincense

A fragrant, highly valued essential oil, derived from the resin of the Boswellia tree. Frankincense soothes inflammation and stimulates cell regeneration. A great tonic for mature skin, tightening slackness and softening wrinkles.

Organic hemp seed oil

Described as 'nature's perfect food' because its 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 essential fatty acids is a perfect match for what the human body needs. Hemp seed oil is absorbed deeply and rapidly to soothe dry or damaged skin and balance oily skin. A popular ingredient in products formulated to slow down the effects of ageing, hemp seed oil leaves the skin smooth, soft and moisturised.

Organic jojoba

Long used by the desert tribes of Southern Californian and Mexico for its remarkable healing properties, jojoba is actually a wax rather than an oil. With a similar chemical make-up to sebum, jojoba penetrates the skin easily, mixes with the skin's own sebum and does pretty much the same job. It nourishes and softens the skin, promotes cell regeneration, destroys bacteria, degreases oily skin and helps combat psoriasis and eczema. It also seems to have that sought-after ability to reduce wrinkles and other lines associated with ageing.

Organic lavender

Used as a bath-time cleanser since Roman times – the word lavender comes from the word lavar: to wash – lavender is both relaxing and stimulating. A powerful antiseptic, healer and insect repellent, lavender calms, refreshes, invigorates and lifts the spirits.

Organic patchouli

Patchouli's richness goes far beyond its sweet and spicy, woody aroma. It reduces inflammation, wards off bacteria, protects against fungal attack and supports the growth of new skin cells. A powerful ally in caring for problems such as cracked or chapped skin, eczema and acne.

Organic rose geranium

Sometimes used alone as a perfume, rose geranium has a delightful rosy-sweet, lemon and mint fragrance. It works its magic on all skin types: helps balance sebum levels in sluggish and oily skin; tones and invigorates dry, tired skin. Another ingredient with popular anti-ageing appeal.

Organic rosemary extract

One of the new generation of botanical antioxidants, organic rosemary extract adds further protection against free radical damage to your skin. It also prolongs the shelf life of Super Natural Organic Facial Oil by keeping the product's omega-rich vegetable oils fresh and stable.

Organic safflower oil

Also known as thistle oil, safflower oil is easily absorbed into the skin because of its exceptional compatibility. It contains 80% linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid) – the highest percentage of all known oils.

Rose oil

Distilled from the petals of the gorgeous scented Centifolia rose, this is the most prized essential oil. It benefits all skin types, but especially dry, sensitive and more mature skin. Regular use can help reduce redness due to enlarged capillaries or thread veins.
